The following video shows my first procurement, isolation, and perfusion of the goat heart for microcirculatory angiography research. The 17 hour experimental protocol was challenging and humbling throughout. If you have any tips for how to improve in any of the procedural phases, all input is welcome! Another day working at the hospital then getting it done in the lab. The second and improved version of the angiography simulation was tested with promising results. Still a ton of room for improvement, as always — new innovations on the way!
